Ambassador David Dondua is a seasoned Georgian diplomat and a leading expert in international security, conflict resolution, and European integration. Since joining Georgia’s foreign service in 1993, he has held key diplomatic positions, including Ambassador to Austria, Greece, and Serbia and Georgia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE and NATO. He also served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and First Deputy State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration. Throughout his career, Ambassador Dondua was instrumental in developing the country’s international security and conflict resolution strategies and establishing policy analysis, strategic planning, and communication systems within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has extensive experience in bilateral and multilateral negotiations, including conflict resolution, arms control, and security cooperation. In addition to his diplomatic service, Ambassador Dondua has a strong academic background, serving as an associate professor and guest lecturer at various universities. He currently serves as the Permanent Representative of the European Public Law Organisation (EPLO) to the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in Vienna, Austria.
