Salome Toliashvili is an alumna of the College of Europe, where she earned a postgraduate degree in European Political and Governance Studies, building on her foundation in international relations and diplomacy. Her expertise lies in the European Union’s Eastern Neighbourhood, with a particular focus on the Eastern Partnership, EU integration and enlargement, and the evolving geopolitical landscape of the South Caucasus and Black Sea regions. Her research interests encompass migration policy, theories of European integration, and the EU’s external governance, with a focus on the political and strategic dimensions of the Union’s engagement with its eastern partners.
Alongside her academic work, Salome has gained experience in strategic communications and project management and has actively participated in several international conferences. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to advancing dialogue and deepening cooperation between the European Union and Georgia. She speaks English, French, and Russian, in addition to her native Georgian.
