What We Do

The EU Awareness Centre promotes democratic reforms, good governance, and European Union values across Eastern Europe, with a particular focus on Georgia. While Georgia is at the heart of our work, our initiatives also extend to other countries aspiring to European integration. We work to combat Soviet-era stereotypes and disinformation that hinder democratic progress and regional cooperation.
Through research, advocacy, and public engagement, we provide policymakers, civil society actors, and the public with accurate, fact-based information. By addressing misinformation and fostering critical thinking, we help build a more informed and resilient society capable of navigating complex geopolitical challenges.
Our initiatives include public awareness campaigns, expert discussions, policy recommendations, and educational programs designed to strengthen democratic institutions and enhance cooperation with European partners. Knowledge is our most effective tool against manipulation, and we are committed to ensuring that objective narratives shape public discourse.
Join us in advancing transparency, democracy, and European values. Together, we can counter disinformation and support the path toward a more united, informed, and democratic Europe.

“Borders are the worst invention ever made by politicians.”
