Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation with the media platform “Euroscope”,
The EU Awareness Centre (EUAC) is pleased to begin 2026 with a meaningful and value-based partnership. We have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Euroscope, an independent and impartial media platform based in Brussels, which has long demonstrated professionalism, credibility, and a strong commitment to the public interest.
This cooperation provides a solid foundation for promoting European values, ensuring access to fact-based information, and strengthening efforts to counter disinformation. Such partnerships are particularly important in an environment where targeted manipulation, false narratives, and anti-European propaganda pose serious challenges to democratic processes and to citizens’ ability to make informed choices.
The mission of the EU Awareness Centre is to strengthen democratic resilience, promote good governance, the rule of law, and human rights, and to support Georgia and other EU-aspiring countries on their path toward European integration. Achieving these objectives is impossible without free, independent, and responsible media.
Our cooperation with Euroscope allows us to combine analytical expertise with a strong media platform in order to deliver reliable and accessible information on EU policies, values, and opportunities to a wider audience, particularly in Eastern Partnership countries. Through joint projects, analytical publications, educational content, and public discussions, this partnership will contribute to enhancing critical thinking and fostering informed public debate.
We believe that this partnership will not only serve as a strong example of cooperation between two like-minded organisations, but will also represent a modest yet meaningful contribution to supporting societies that have chosen a European future. The EU Awareness Centre looks forward to working closely with Euroscope to defend free information, democratic values, and the European choice.
Strengthening Support for Georgia’s European Path in Austria
As part of its ongoing mission to promote understanding of European values and counter disinformation, the EU Awareness Centre continues to build bridges between European societies and countries aspiring to join the EU.
On 10 November 2025, the Centre organised a meeting in Vienna that brought together representatives of the Georgian community in Austria and Austrian friends of Georgia, both of whom share a commitment to strengthening awareness and support for Georgia’s European aspirations.
“Europe means taking responsibility — together — for peace, security, and freedom”
