The EU Awareness Centre offers remote internships on a rolling basis throughout the year. We welcome motivated students and early-career researchers who wish to contribute to our work strengthening democratic resilience, countering disinformation, and supporting EU-aspiring countries on their path toward European integration.
Interns work remotely alongside our team and support the Centre's core activities:
Responsibilities are matched to each intern's background, interests, and the Centre's current priorities.
We look for candidates with a genuine interest in European affairs and in the democratic transformation of the EU's eastern neighbourhood, together with sound research and writing skills and close attention to detail. A background in political science, law, international relations, European studies, journalism, or communications is an asset, though every application is assessed on its own merits.
Working proficiency in English is required; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
We are glad to support internships that form part of a university curriculum or an Erasmus+ traineeship: we will sign the traineeship or learning agreement provided by your university and issue a completion certificate at the end. Please note that eligibility for any Erasmus+ grant, and academic recognition of the placement, are determined by your own university.
