Prof. Stephen Neil MacFarlane

Stephen Neil MacFarlane is a scholar of international relations, focusing on international security and Russian foreign policy, particularly towards its southern periphery. He has taught at the University of Virginia, Queen’s University (Canada), and as a chaired professor at Oxford University. He is currently a professor emeritus and a senior research fellow at Oxford. He is also a research affiliate of the Davis Center and the Georgian Studies Programme at Harvard University. He is also a professor (honoris causa) at Tbilisi State University
